All government-private schools will remain closed in the capital today, order of the collector

Jaipur : Heavy rain continues in Rajasthan’s capital Jaipur. The rain that started in Jaipur from Wednesday night has caused heavy destruction. Due to the rain, there is waterlogging in many places in Jaipur. In many places, the roads have become like lakes. According to the Meteorological Department, it will continue to rain in Jaipur and other districts of the state. In view of the weather forecast and the bad conditions in Jaipur due to rain, the district administration has decided to keep all schools closed in Jaipur on Friday, August 2 as well.

Late Thursday evening, the district administration issued an order to close the schools. Earlier on Thursday also, schools were closed in Jaipur due to heavy rains. It is known that on Wednesday, 173 mm of rain was recorded in Jaipur, which is the highest rainfall in August in the last 12 years. In fact, in view of heavy rains in Jaipur city, as per the instructions of the District Collector, all government and non-government schools in Jaipur city have declared holiday on Friday, August 2 in all schools from class 1 to 12. All the institution heads will ensure compliance of the order.

Due to rain, the roads of Jaipur started flowing like rivers. Water entered the houses. Even buses were seen submerged. Due to the flow of water, even a car was swept away. Due to rain, three people including a minor died due to drowning after rain water entered the basement of a house in Vishwakarma police station area. At the same time, a child drowned in a drain in Bagru police station area, due to which he died. It is raining in Jaipur on Thursday night as well. In such a situation, the administration has issued an order for holiday in schools for Friday.
