Jodhpur : After the murder and burial of beautician Anita Chaudhary, Ghulamuddin Farooqui kept roaming around his house and Sardarpura for two days. When the police became active in search of Anita, he fled from the city on October 29 by parking his moped in the parking lot of Mahatma Gandhi Hospital. He had left the mobile in the trunk in working condition. Based on the location, when police reached MGH parking, only moped and mobile were found. The police have not been able to find any trace of Ghulamuddin. The police investigation so far has found evidence of Ghulamuddin’s wife Abeda Parveen’s involvement in the conspiracy. Anita had left for Gangana in an auto rickshaw from Sardarpura B Road on 27th October at 2.35 pm. Ghulamuddin’s wife Abeda Parveen had gone to her sister’s house with her three daughters on the same day. Who stayed there the night.
She said..husband Ghulamuddin knows everything
Ghulamuddin’s wife Abeda was presented in the court from Sardarpura police station on Sunday. While being taken to appear in the court, she told reporters that she was at her sister’s house. He did not commit murder. Husband Ghulamuddin knows everything. The court ordered to send him on remand for five days.
Apprehension…had cut it into pieces overnight, brought JCB in the morning
Till 4.15 pm on 27th October, Anita’s mobile location was in Gangana. The mobile was switched off at 5 pm. Probably, after making him unconscious late at night, Ghulamuddin had killed him by giving him a fatal blow on his forehead. Throughout the night he had cut the dead body into six pieces by cutting off its neck, both hands and legs. On the morning of 28 October, he brought the JCB and buried the body. Police have recovered the JCB.
Therefore the role of wife along with her husband is doubtful….
No blood stains or marks were found in Ghulamuddin’s house in Gangana. The police suspect that after killing and dismembering the body, Ghulamuddin or his wife might have washed and cleaned the house.
Before burying the body, Ghulamuddin had talked to his wife Abeda on mobile. In which he had given information about killing Anita and digging a pit to bury the dead body. Police have found this recording in Abeda’s mobile. Then when Abeda reached home, her husband was pouring soil.
CCTV footage of Anita leaving Sardarpura in an auto has surfaced. She had left for Gangana in an auto with a bag in her hand on 27 October at 2.35 pm. The bag is suspected to contain clothes or other valuables.
