Bikaner : Bikaner Education Department has ordered to operate all the government and private schools of Rajasthan (affiliated with Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education) together. All such schools will start together and all schools will have holidays at the same time. If any school disobeys these orders, action will be taken against it. Even the recognition can be cancelled. Director of Secondary Education Ashish Modi has issued orders in this regard. Actually, the timings of schools in the state have been changed from October 16. Despite this, most of the private schools are being run from 8 and 9 in the morning to 1.30 to 2 in the afternoon.
According to the Shivra calendar, the timing of one shift school in winter season has been fixed from 10 am to 4 pm. Whereas the timing of two shift schools is fixed from 7.30 am to 5.30 pm. But many private schools in the state are not following the Shivra calendar. It has been said in the order that even after the increase in cold in winter season, schools are being operated as per summer time. Due to which the health of the students is being adversely affected. The Director has issued instructions to operate all the schools of the state according to the Shivra calendar. It has been clarified in the order that if any private school does not follow the Shivra calendar, then recognition and promotion can also be canceled against the concerned school as per the provisions of Rajasthan Non-Government Educational Institutions Act 1989 Rules 1993.
