Bhind, 5 December (IANS). Minister in-charge of Panchayat and Rural Development, Labor Department and Bhind, Prahlad Patel is on a two-day visit to the district. On the first day on Thursday, he addressed the meeting of the District Planning Committee. During this, the minister also talked to journalists. He said that all the temples will be made encroachment free.
The Minister in charge said that today’s meeting was held in a good atmosphere. He said that the CEO of the District Panchayat has been instructed to investigate the work which is pending in the Panchayats for the last two and a half years. At the same time, an amount of Rs 1 crore has been sanctioned to the public representatives for development works in their areas. Also directed to carry out Sindh Ratangarh and Kanera project smoothly.
On this occasion, Renewable Energy Minister Rakesh Shukla said that 52 thousand cases have been identified for solar energy, in which farmers will be able to apply with 90 percent subsidy and within a month the committee will pay all the bills and inform me. Minister in-charge Prahlad Patel said that Muktidhams will be built by giving separate space for those who are landless and Muktidhams will also be built where there is a practice of burning dead bodies on the banks of the river.
The minister in charge said in strong words that wherever there is encroachment on Muktidham, it will be immediately freed from the encroachment and by running a campaign, the temples whose lands are encroached on will be immediately vacated and the Panchayats in Bhind district in which the land for Muktidham will be allotted. No, Mukti Dham will be constructed by providing them land.
Regarding Umri toll plaza, the minister said that there is difficulty in clearing the toll plaza. Toll work will start at Umri Plaza by my next meeting.
Apart from Minister Patel, Cabinet Minister Rakesh Shukla, Bhind MLA Narendra Kushwaha, Lahar MLA Ambrish Sharma Guddu, District Panchayat President Kamna Singh were present on this occasion.
