Mumbai, 7 December (IANS). A three-day special session of the Maharashtra Assembly has been called on Saturday. In this session, Protem Speaker Kalidas Kolambkar will administer the oath to the newly elected MLAs. The arrival of newly elected MLAs has been going on since morning to take oath.
On the other hand, it is being said in media reports that Deputy CM Eknath Shinde is angry regarding the Home Department. BJP leader and MLC Prasad Lad spoke to IANS on this entire matter. He said that Eknath Shinde is not angry. This is just speculation, nothing more. All three leaders will sit together and departments will be divided.
Regarding the oath taking of the newly elected MLAs, he said that there is a very happy atmosphere today. Devendra Fadnavis has become the Chief Minister. All newly elected MLAs will take oath. Mahayuti government has come. Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar have become deputy CMs in this government. The development work in Maharashtra for the next five years will be under the leadership of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. I think that in the coming years, if there is any state that will be most powerful in terms of industry, it will be Maharashtra.
On the statement given by newly elected MLA from SP Raees Shaikh on EVM, BJP leader and MLC Prasad Lad has said that the people of Mahavikas Aghadi do not live by a statement, those who used to say that they will bring 165 to 170 seats, today came to them for LOP. Not even a number. Mahavikas Aghadi will have to understand why they have this situation. There is only ego behind this and nothing else. Even Ravana had no ego. We did not act out of ego. Our workers have worked on the ground. More than one lakh small meetings were organized. A large number of migrant workers from across the country including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President JP Nadda have worked.
I believe Raees Sheikh is a practical person. He is a capable leader who plays an active role in legislative work and is knowledgeable. If any such leader speaks on this matter, I think Nana Patole should call him and collect the information he has on this issue.
