Sikar : Rajasthan Teachers Association Shekhawat surrounded the DEO office on Monday, accusing the Education Department of posting surplus teachers against the rules. Spokesperson Nolaram Jakhar said that under the leadership of District President Vinod Poonia, teachers union officials and affected teachers demonstrated outside the office shouting slogans.
District Minister Nagarmal Garhwal had already informed the officer about the protest of the organization regarding the grievance of the teachers, hence the officer left the office even before the siege. Angered by this, the teachers started protesting in the office. The protest continued till the DEO reached the office at 8 pm. In the demonstration, State General Secretary Upendra Sharma, State Coordinator Pokharmal, District Sangharsh Committee Coordinator Farooq Ali, Suman Bhanuka and other teachers participated in the talks with the District Education Officer at night.
