Jodhpur : The 25th season of Jodhpur Polo will start tomorrow from 27th November. Complete preparations have been made for this. Preparations for the polo ground have also been completed. The process of arrival of players is also continuing. Along with famous players from India and abroad, women players from other countries including Argentina, Australia are also participating in polo. The match will be held at the Maharaja Gaj Singh Sports Foundation Polo Ground located on Air Force Road, Pabupura. The tournament will be held under the auspices of Jodhpur Polo and Equestrian Institute under the chief patronage of former King Gaj Singh till December 30. Inderjit Singh Nathawat, Honorary Secretary of Jodhpur Polo and Equestrian Institute, Jodhpur, said – Five tournaments and one-day matches will be played in this season.
Low goal tournament till 2nd December
Low Goal Tournament from Wednesday 27th November to 2nd December, Umaid Bhawan Palace Cup 4 goals from 3rd to 7th December, HH Maharaja of Jodhpur Cup 8 goals from 11th to 16th December, Rajputana and Central India Cup 8 goals from 17th to 22nd December and 24th to 30th. The eight-round Maharaja of Jodhpur Golden Jubilee Cup will take place in mid-December.
Women polo players will participate
Inderjit Singh said – Women players have participated in polo before also, but this time it will be the first time when the entire team will be made up of women players. Australian polo player Miss Raya Sidorenko will take the field with her team. There will also be a team of Argentinian and Indian women players.

A demonstration match of the Ladies International Polo Cup will also be played. Long distance shot competition will also be the center of attraction during the polo season.
Many players including Padanabh, Angad Kalan, former Sports Minister Ashok Chandna will participate.

Major Mrityanjay Singh, Ashok Chandna former Sports Minister Rajasthan, plus Vikramaditya Singh Barkana from Zero Handicap, Himmat Singh Bedla, Naveen Singh and Appy Singh from Navy. Among the foreign players, Gerardo Menizzi (6 handicap) from Argentina, Daniel Otamendi (5 handicap) from England etc. will participate.
