Jaipur : Jaipur: Preparations to make changes in the school curriculum have intensified. The curriculum revision committee constituted by the state government has started work on this. Under the curriculum change, chapters promoting Indian civilization, culture and Sanatan Dharma will now be added to the books. New chapters will also be included to connect school students with new technology. According to the times, students will also be taught artificial intelligence (AI), IT, entrepreneurship and other studies. Indian food will also be introduced in the course. Those chapters will be added to the curriculum, so that the feeling of patriotism can be awakened among the students. These changes have been decided in the recent curriculum revision committee meeting. This change will be made from class 1 to 12. The change will be 100 percent from class one to five, but will be partial from class six to 12.
Prof. Sodani Said that a list of 100 writers has been made for writing the book. We will submit the report to the government by December. In this, public welfare, culture, digital, cyber, computer knowledge and other points will be included in the curriculum. The selected authors will be called to the State Institute of Educational Research and Training (SIERT), Udaipur and will get their books prepared. So that the books of the new curriculum are printed and reach the students by July. There can be 100% change in the curriculum from class 1st to class 5th. All the books are being studied in detail and after the study, whatever will come out soon which the children should not read, all those things will be removed. Here, by holding a meeting on academic research, instructions have also been given to the research officers.
There will be 100% change from class 1 to 5 and 20% change from class 6 to 12.
Syllabus Chairman of the Parivaar Samiti, Professor Kailash Sodani said that the curriculum our children are studying today is not inspiring the youth for patriotism that much. That is why now after discussing with the committee members, we will make any necessary changes in our curriculum. He said that keeping in mind the current needs of the students, changes will be made in the curriculum, although there will be up to 20 percent change in the curriculum. At present, changes will be made keeping in mind the needs of the country.
