Barmer : Alumni Meet of Kisan Hostel will be held on 25th December. Poster release and pre-preparation meeting was organized at Farmers Hostel on Sunday.
District Head Mahendra Chaudhary said that organizing the alumni meeting is an important task, it will refresh old memories. Since the establishment of Kisan Hostel till today, thousands of students have made their future by getting residential facilities here.
Former Commandant Jor Singh Sau, while sharing his experience of 1952, said that Kisan Hostel is Kashi-Mathura for the farmers of the desert. After studying from here, students reached All India Services.
Kisan Hostel President Balwant Singh Chaudhary said that the alumni meeting ceremony is an exemplary work. The former students will remember their childhood after coming to this holy land. Kisan Hostel Secretary Daluram Choudhary said that when there were no education facilities in Barmer, then Kisan Hostel was started under the leadership of Choudhary Ramdan, which stands like a banyan tree today. Students of all castes and religions are getting residential facilities in the hostel.
For the success of the event, various committees were formed and responsibilities were assigned. Along with this, all the agendas of the alumni meet were discussed.
