Alwar : Alwar About 30 thousand families will stop getting ration in the new year. The government had asked everyone to get e-KYC done, but this family did not wake up. The ration did not even reach the dealers. There is also suspicion that their cards may have been made in other districts also. They may have left the village here or gone to other districts and states in search of livelihood. However, the Logistics Department has given time till December 31 for e-KYC. In many districts of the state, games were being played in the name of free food grains. To stop this, a method of e-KYC was devised. Those who got the e-KYC done got the benefit of the scheme and those who did not get it done will not get free food grains. The target of e-KYC was achieved by 5.75 lakh families of Alwar, Khairthal-Tijara and Kotputli-Behror districts. The Logistics Department has so far done e-KYC of 5.45 lakh families. The remaining 30 thousand have not yet come in contact with the department. The department is trying to reach these families so that they can get food grains, but till now no contact has been made.
84.13 percent target of all three districts achieved
E-KYC was made mandatory for all ration card holders, but about 16 percent people are still keeping a distance. According to the data of all three districts, 84.13 percent target has been achieved so far. About 84.13 percent ration card holders have got e-KYC done. The remaining families have been given time till December 31. Otherwise they will not get ration from the new year.

Through e-KYC, only those family members who reside in this district will get wheat free of cost. Daughters of some families got married in other districts or states. In such a situation, their names will be deleted through e-KYC. Or the families start residing in other districts, they will also be removed from here.
