Alwar 98 cow rearing committees closed, 10 thousand liters of milk was supplied daily

Alwar : In Alwar district, SARAS has closed all the 98 Gopalan committees formed in the villages. Through which about 10 thousand liters of milk reached the Saras plant every day. About six years ago, these committees were formed by the government with the aim of promoting cow rearing. But, Alwar MD has taken this decision after discovering that the operation of many committees has more than a mafia nexus.

milk coming through mafia

Suresh Sen, MD of Alwar Saras Milk Plant, said that milk was coming through 98 cow rearing committees in the district. Most of these committees had complaints. Who had started collecting milk through mafia. Whereas our aim is that the cattle rearer should get real benefit. So that maximum quality milk can reach the common people. Now the milk of mafia had started coming through these cow rearing committees. For example, the work of bringing milk from outside and sending it to Alwar through the committee had started. Whose quality was also in doubt. For this reason the cow rearing committees have been dissolved. Now milk did not come through them. Most of these committees were formed in those villages. Where milk committee is already running. Milk comes from there. Due to this, there will be no problem in collecting milk.

Gopalan committee was formed in Alwar

MD Suresh Sen told that Gopalan Committee was formed in Alwar only in the entire state. For this reason, the effect of closing the committees is only in Alwar. However, closing the committee will not make any difference. Actually the objective of the Cow Husbandry Committee was to conserve cows. This means that cow’s milk should come separately. Its products should also be made separately. He should also be promoted. So that more and more cow products can be made. Due to this not happening, the objective of cow rearing is not being achieved. For this reason, closing Gopalan Samiti will not make much difference. The inflow of milk will also remain the same. At present, about 2.25 lakh liters of milk comes to the Saras plant daily.
