Alwar: Children of government schools are happy with digital education.

Alwar : Youngsters of Alwar government schools are enjoying getting computer knowledge through digital library. Recently, during the inspection of the government school in Mahua Khurd, Collector Artika Shukla had praised the digital library established for the children and said that it would be effective in the preparation of competitive examinations for the children in future. Digital libraries have been started in 13 government schools of the district, while work is going on to start digital libraries in 10 other schools in the next financial year.

Samsa Engineer Rajesh Lavania said that the initiative to provide digital knowledge to children was taken by a foundation in the district, on whose behalf the dilapidated school buildings were rejuvenated. Renovated the schools along with the villagers. In which the schools were made child friendly by repairing the entire school along with providing toilets, drinking water, furniture, rain water harvesting, painting and other works. The digital innovations made in schools were greatly appreciated by the children and parents.

Interest towards studies started increasing: During the Corona period, due to long school holidays, the importance of digital education was seen more, so we moved towards digital education. In this sequence, digital libraries and solar panels were installed in many government schools of the district. Solar panels were installed along with digital libraries in Sahodi of Umrain and Mahua Khurd of Malakheda, which increased the interest of children in studies. Inspirational stories and general knowledge videos along with course material in the form of PDF and videos for classes 1 to 12 were made available on the computer. Apart from this, educational content is being made available, which children can easily understand by listening and seeing. This library is proving to be effective in preparation for higher education including competitive exams. Institution heads say that this digital library is very useful in schools where there is a shortage of teachers. Through this, new knowledge continues to be created in children. With computer knowledge, she is dreaming of becoming a senior officer one day.
