Alwar double gate overbridge work slow, electricity-water line not shifted

Alwar : The work of Alwar Double Gate Overbridge started in one and a half year, but is still crawling. The main reason for this is that the electricity and water lines have not been shifted. PWD has now received NOC for this. Experts say that if the work continues at this pace, the public may have to wait for two to two and a half years. During this period, many problems will have to be faced in transportation. The work of double gate overbridge was approved in the previous Congress government. About Rs 62 crore was received for this, but as soon as the new government came, the work was stopped for some time. Major tasks were being reviewed. People are getting stuck in traffic jams every day. About 35 trains pass through here every day. In such a situation, the public had to wait for the same amount of time every 10 minutes.

People around are seen getting scared by the dust and smoke. Due to a lot of pressure, the work started on 25th October. Initially the soil was examined, but the work did not progress further. At present only the name work is going on. If PWD officials do better monitoring then this work can be completed quickly. The public may get relief. Although the District Collector also reviews big projects, the work is not being carried out. NOC has been received from the concerned departments for shifting the electricity and water lines. The work will be expedited by completing the shifting soon. Work is also affected due to grapes.
