Alwar : Alwar The death anniversary of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the father of the Constitution, is celebrated as Mahaparinirvan Diwas. What Dr. Ambedkar, the creator of the Indian Constitution, social reformer, intellectual and thinker, did for the country can never be forgotten. His contribution to nation building will always be remembered with respect and equality. The efforts made towards keeping the unity and integrity of the country intact by following the path shown by him is a true tribute to him.
Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie said this on Friday during the lamp donation program at the statue of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar at Ambedkar Circle on the occasion of Mahaparinirvan Diwas. He said that Mahaparinirvan Day provides us an opportunity to remember the ideals of Baba Saheb and adopt them in our lives. Julie said that this day inspires us to end discrimination based on caste, religion and language and promote mutual brotherhood. During this, a large number of dignitaries were present.
Employees’ Joint Organization paid tribute
State Scheduled Caste, Tribe, Backward Caste Officer-Employee Joint Organization District Branch celebrated the Mahaparinirvan Day of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar on Friday. In the programme, floral tributes were offered to his statue at Ambedkar Circle. The program was led by State Secretary Kailash Mehra. During this, Nand Kishore Verma, Mangal Ram Jatav, Omprakash Mahiwal, Nihal Singh etc. were present.
Here, wreaths were placed on the statue of Ambedkar in the Government Law College. All faculty members and students were present. College Principal Dr. Hemant Kumar threw light on the life of Ambedkar. At the same time, All Rajasthan Jatav Mahasabha district branch paid tribute by offering flowers at Ambedkar Circle. A symposium was organized under the chairmanship of District President Kundan Lal Jatav. Ambedkar’s contribution was discussed in the seminar. The District President emphasized on following the path of Baba Saheb, following his Constitution and social unity. He called for making the young generation cultured and progressing in education by staying away from drugs.
