Alwar : There is fear in the surrounding area due to panther movement in Alwar RR College. The forest department team installed cages and cameras in the college campus on Monday to catch the panther. Also monitoring has been started day and night. A lamb was also kept in the cage at night, so that the panther, seeing the prey, would come here and catch it. On Sunday, pugmarks of the panther were found, due to which fear spread in the college campus as well as the surrounding areas. Under the leadership of Forest Department DFO Rajendra Hooda, Regional Forest Officer Shankar Singh Shekhawat etc. reached the college campus on Monday. He placed the cage at the same place after seeing pug marks etc. Cameras have also been installed on this movement. Officials said that monitoring is going on. Precaution is being taken.
People were stopped but tested: Due to the movement of the panther, people were also stopped from roaming around. Although the examination center had come here, all the children were given the examination. People were explained that there is a panther movement, so they should not go.
