A program for the month of November for the session 2024-25 was organized under the women’s policy 2021 in the state of Rajasthan under the aegis of the women’s cell at Alwar : Alwar Rajarshi College on Monday. College Principal Dr. Gopichand Paliwal presided. In the first session of the program, Manisha Verma gave detailed information to the students about Dowry Act-1986 and Women’s Property Rights. In the second lecture, Kiran Meena gave detailed information about the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act 2013. At the end of the first session of the program, female constables Heera Sen and Maheshwari Meena of Nirbhaya Squad Alwar taught the girl students the tricks of self-defense. In the second session of the program, a lecture was held on the topic of micro, small and medium business, startup loan and self-help groups. Chief Manager Rajeev Ranjan and Senior Manager Vandana Singh gave information about various schemes provided by the MSME Department and also how to avail the benefits of loans, subsidies and tax exemptions and facilities for new enterprises.
