Alwar : Alwar Rajasthan Medical Education Society (Rajmes) has appointed 472 new faculty on vacant posts in medical colleges of the state including Alwar. In this, Alwar Medical College has got 26 new faculty. It is expected that the new faculty will join the college soon. This will not only benefit the MBBS students but will also expand the medical services of the district hospital. At present, about 85 faculty including the Principal and about 13 senior resident doctors are providing services in the Medical College.
Alwar got this faculty: Apart from the doctors working in the district hospital related to the medical college, the faculty of Anesthesia, Gynecology, Anatomy, Pathology, Biochemistry, General Medicine, General Surgery, Community Medicine, ENT, Ophthalmology and Physiology is currently providing services in the college. At the same time, the new faculty acquired by the college includes one faculty of Physiology, 3 of Microbiology, one of Pharmacology, 3 each of Pathology and Community Medicine, one of General Medicine and 2 of Pediatrics. Similarly, one new faculty of Skin, 2 of General Surgery, 2 of Orthopedics, one each of ENT and Gynecology, 3 of Anesthesia and one of Emergency Medicine will soon serve in the college.
