Alwar : Alwar: The gate will remain closed from Sunday 7 am to Monday 7 pm due to over hauling work at gate number 69 in Govindgarh yard located on Mathura-Alwar railway section. Traffic will be affected due to the gate being closed. Railway Station Master Hansraj Verma said that there is heavy pressure of road traffic at gate number 69. This gate cannot be closed repeatedly for routine maintenance. In such a situation, this time for the safe operation of the railway, along with overhauling, its surface is also being changed.
According to the Railway Police, due to closure of the gate, road traffic has been diverted via Alwar-Sikri-Pahari via Govindgarh. Two-wheelers and light vehicles will be able to travel through Semla Road underpass route of Govindgarh town via Rambas. The RPF constable on duty at the gate pacified the troubled drivers.
