Alwar : under the auspices of Jain community, on Sunday, under the auspices of Jain community, the initiation procession of Kanishka Jain was taken out with pomp and show by Jain Nasiyaji along with bandwagons at 9:30 am. It passed through the main roads of the town, where flowers were showered at many places. The melodious sound of bhajans was played by the band players during the Varghoda Yatra. After that, the people of Jain community enthusiastically shouted in praise of the initiate. Men including women and children danced enthusiastically on the melodious bhajans being played on the DJ, due to which the atmosphere of the area became devotional.
Mother Madhu Jain, father Pawan Jain and brother Laxmikant accepted the emotional greetings of the people of the town with folded hands along with student Kanishka, who was seated in a carriage decorated with attractive decorations. Varghoda Yatra was completed by reaching Jain Vatika via main market of the town, old market, Ratankunj Colony, Alwar-Bharatpur road. The Varghoda Yatra was welcomed by the villagers with flowers and refreshments at various places in the town. In the program, Anand Shah Chopra, National President of All India Shri Jain Ratna Hiteshi Shravak Sangh and presidents and ministers of affiliated organizations and all Shri Sanghas were felicitated on behalf of Barodamev Samaj. Former Alwar city MLA Banwarilal Singhal, Ramgarh MLA Sukhwant Singh were present in the program. At 1:15 pm, felicitation of the initiate and opening ceremony of the initiate was conducted. People of Jain community from far away places participated in the programme. It is noteworthy that Kanishka’s initiation ceremony will be held in Jodhpur on 11th December.
Message to the young generation: While giving a message to the young generation, Kanishka Jain said that they should serve their parents and elders and make life meaningful by following the path of religion. He said that my aim is to reduce my indulgences and to attain salvation by renouncing the sorrows of the world.
Inspiration for society: This decision of Kanishka has set an example for the Jain society and the young generation. This step reflects his unwavering faith in religion and devotion, which inspires him to take the path of renunciation.
