Alwar leads in complaints of violation of code of conduct on 7 seats of Rajasthan

Alwar : After the imposition of code of conduct for the by-elections of 7 assembly constituencies in Rajasthan, complaints of violations reached a lot from the control room to C-Vigil. Till November 5, 161 complaints were received on these seats, out of which 76 were found to be true and 85 were found to be fake. Genuine complaints were resolved at the RO level. Maximum number of complaints of code of conduct violation in the state have come from Ramgarh assembly constituency of Alwar. However, all were disposed of. Most of the complaints came regarding installation of hoardings and banners.

The number of district wise complaints of 7 seats has been given on the website of Bharat Election Organisation. 39 complaints were received from Ramgarh area of ​​Alwar, out of which 13 were found to be fake. 26 complaints were found valid and resolved. 21 complaints were received in Dausa, 19 in Dungarpur, 23 in Nagaur. It is known that the code of conduct was imposed on October 15, which will remain in place till 12 midnight on November 14. In such a situation, the number of complaints is likely to increase further.

No major code violation

An administrative official says that no major case of violation of code of conduct has come to light. The matter of putting up hoardings, banners and posters came to light, which were removed. Some people also lodged complaints, which were rejected.
