Alwar : Alwar As part of the Suraksha Kavach Abhiyaan conducted for awareness and protection from cyber fraud, a workshop for teachers along with school children was organized in the Government Higher Secondary School of Chidwa on Monday. The workshop was started with Saraswati Puja. In the workshop, Principal Manish Verma along with Nauganwa police station officer Vijendra Singh, as cyber experts, gave many important information to the school children. Vijendra Singh told that cyber criminals are buying and stealing people’s mobile numbers and personal information. They are loading a piracy virus on the mobile by sending a link in the name of APK. Due to this, the mobile data goes to the cyber criminal and he uses your personal information to threaten and defraud you.
Many times people hesitate in giving information about the incident to anyone, but this can be easily avoided by being alert while using mobile. Do not click on the link. As soon as the link is clicked, a vicious thief in the form of a virus steals personal information from the mobile and makes a digital arrest from it. To avoid this, one has to be cautious. Principal Manish Verma appealed to make children aware to prevent such crimes. One should not give personal information or OTP to any unknown caller. One should avoid clicking on any type of link coming on mobile. In the workshop, teachers including Principal Manish Verma said that a good initiative has been taken to keep people safe from cyber fraud.
