Alwar : On Wednesday, the third day of the Road Safety and Life Saving Program being run by the Alwar District Administration till 5th December for the prevention of road accidents and propagation of traffic rules, the flying squad of the Transport Department and the Traffic Police conducted a flight in the city. Taught traffic rules to students in many schools of Uttar Pradesh. Seminars were organized on road safety and Good Samaritan rules by organizing seminars in Government Mahatma Gandhi Secondary School Chandoli, Alwar Public School and Naveen Senior Secondary School and Chinar Public School. RTI Satish Kumar told that 520 pamphlets related to road safety were distributed. Also, the Traffic Police and Transport Department put reflector tape on 102 vehicles and as part of the enforcement action, 4 people were arrested for not wearing seat belts, 73 people were not wearing helmets, 2 vehicles were overloaded, 5 vehicles were arrested without valid pollution certificate. Challans were issued to 56 vehicles for driving faster than the prescribed speed and 28 vehicles for no parking.
