Alwar Ramgarh will get a new MLA by Saturday afternoon

Alwar : Counting of votes for Alwar Ramgarh Assembly by-election will begin on November 23 at 8 am. Counting of votes will continue for 22 rounds. It is believed that the results will be out by afternoon. District Election Officer Artika Shukla said that preparations for counting of votes have been completed. All officers and personnel will reach Arts College at 6 am for counting of votes. Counting of votes from 284 polling stations will take place in 22 rounds, for which the counting room number has been fixed at the Staff Room (Ground Floor). EVM will be in strong room number 2, 3, 4 (ground floor). 13 tables have been installed for EVM counting and 5 tables for postal ballot and e-PB. E-PB calculation will take place in room number 7, in which 3 tables have been installed. For this, an Assistant Returning Officer (Vote Counting) has been appointed.

Police and security arrangements will remain here

A three-tier cordon will be put in place to prevent entry of unauthorized persons inside the counting complex.

The first level of security cordon will start from a radius of 100 meters around the counting complex. No person will be allowed to pass through the first level of the security cordon without a duly issued authorization letter or an issued ID card with photo. Officer in-charge to control the crowd and regulate entry Law and Order Additional District Collector City Alwar will be the executive magistrate.

The second level/middle security circle will be at the gate of the counting complex. It will be conducted by armed police, where proper searches will be conducted by the policemen. Search of women personnel will be done only by women police personnel.

The third and innermost circle of security will be at the door of the counting hall, which will be operated by the Central Armed Police Forces. There will be proper search arrangements at this level also. On the day of counting, all the personnel, candidates, election agents, counting agents coming for counting will be allowed to enter the counting center only after checking with metal detector before entering the counting center. Counting Supervisor, Counting Assistant, Counting Officers planned for initial counting of e-PB. Parking of vehicles of all other government personnel including supervisors, technical personnel, micro observers, returning officer staff will be on the left side of gate number 3.

The vehicles of all the officers involved in the counting of votes will be parked in the open ground near the Geography Department building.

The vehicles of the candidates, their election agents and counting agents will be parked in the Vijay Nagar parking ground near Jail Circle.

Parking of vehicles of media personnel will be near the tennis court located on the right side of Gate No. 1.
