Alwar : Police on Tuesday revealed the robbery incident that took place in Arya Nagar Scheme-1, a posh area of Alwar city. The maid of the house witnessed the incident and left the basement door open. After this, five miscreants entered the house through the basement, took an elderly couple hostage, committed robbery and fled away. The police have arrested all the six accused including the girl. They are being thoroughly interrogated regarding the incident and recovery of goods.
District Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Nain said that Neeraj Garg, resident of 217 Aryanagar Scheme-1, had gone to Rampur wedding along with his family on November 18. His elderly parents were in the house from behind. At around 2 am on the night of 20th November, five masked miscreants jumped the boundary and entered the house through the basement. The robbery was carried out by taking the elderly couple Harishchandra Garg and Taradevi hostage. Cash and jewelery worth lakhs of rupees were looted from the safe and cupboard of the house. The team of about 50 policemen, while revealing the incident in five days, arrested the accused – Sujal (21), son of Hansraj Valmiki, Rishi (21), son of Amit Kumar Valmiki, Hannu (24), resident of Hansi Charkutab Gate City of Hansi police station area of Hisar district of Haryana. Son Suresh Kumar Valmiki, Aryan (22) Son Vivek Kumar Valmiki, resident of Valmiki Chowk Mohalla-Hisar Sachin (24) Son Prahlad Valmiki and Neelam alias Kanchan (25), daughter of Ashok Jatav, resident of Meo Boarding, Alwar, have been arrested.
Maid sent photo of house on mobile: During police interrogation, maid Neelam revealed that she told her friend Aryan that her boss Neeraj Garg was going out of the city with his family for a wedding for six-seven days. Who have a lot of money in their house. Neelam knew this because she used to do cleaning work in their house.
Neelam raided Aryan by sending him a photo of Neeraj Garg’s house on his mobile. With the aim of committing the crime, all the accused first gathered at one place in Gurugram. Planned the incident. On 20th November, everyone switched off their mobiles together and came to Alwar by taxi car for the crime. Left the taxi car and driver in front of the railway station and reached Bhagat Singh Circle via e-rickshaw. From there we reached Scheme-1 on foot. The miscreants knew that the basement door of the house was open, due to which they easily entered the house.
