Alwar : Alwar Supreme Court has accepted all the 25 recommendations of the Central Empowered Committee (CEC) regarding Sariska Tiger Reserve and Pandupol Hanuman Temple and has asked the state government to implement them within a year. The court also directed to form a committee to monitor the compliance of these instructions, which will review the progress and submit reports regularly. The hearing is now likely to take place in late 2025. Judge B.R. Gavai and Justice K.V. Vishwanathan’s division bench gave this order. The report presented by the CEC is related to illegal mining, environmental protection and religious tourism management in Sariska Tiger Reserve and Pandupol Hanuman Temple area. The Supreme Court allowed redrawing of the boundaries of Sariska Tiger Reserve taking into account scientific studies and breeding areas of tigers, so that tigers can be conserved. During the hearing, Additional Advocate General Shivmangal Sharma said that the Rajasthan government has agreed to all the recommendations made in the CEC report dated July 22, 2024.
