Alwar : Alwar Rajasthan Skill and Livelihood Development Corporation RSLDC is increasing the skills of the youth of the district and connecting them with employment, so that the youth do not remain unemployed. About 4856 youth have been trained by the Corporation through different courses in one year. Till about 6 months ago, youth were being trained at more than a dozen centers in Alwar, but now only 3 centers are providing training. are being operated. With the completion of the course, the centers are also closing. Presently 120 girls are taking training in garment making course in Rajgarh. 30 youth are taking training in folk music in Behrod. 60 youth are undergoing training at the health care center in Barodamev. The only center running in MIA, Alwar was closed last week after the completion of the course.
Under Raj Quick program, youth are given skill training as per the demand of market and industry. As per industry based demand, programs have been conducted for skill training of 334 youth in 35 sectors. Employment opportunities are provided after the training program. Youth between 15 to 35 years can apply for this.
Under the Samarth program, self-employment and entrepreneurship based skill training is provided to women, prisoners with special abilities, Nari Niketan and juvenile homes, girls’ homes, orphanages, transgenders, widows and abandoned people to make them self-reliant through skills. Under the Saksham program, such youth are provided self-employment and entrepreneurship based skill training. Who is not a regular student of any school or college and wants to get skill training and do his own business or any self-employment activity collectively. One has to train for 4 to 6 hours every day.
Under Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya Gramin Kaushalya Yojana, any rural BPL of the district, unemployed youth or such youth who have been selected by VIP at Gram Panchayat level or their family members have worked as laborers in MNREGA, they will be provided residential and non-residential facilities.
