Alwar’s AQI crosses 250, same situation in villages and cities

Alwar : Alwar There is smog in Alwar district of Delhi NCR for the last 14 hours. Due to which the AQI level crossed 250. Which is much more than the next day of Diwali. Due to deterioration in air quality, respiratory and asthma patients face the biggest problem. The sudden change in weather has affected the common people. Which some people are considering as fog. But it’s smog. Due to which the air quality index has dropped rapidly. Meaning AQI has increased.

The air in Alwar city started becoming suffocating due to smog on Sunday afternoon. After 4 pm, smog spread over the entire district and surrounding areas as if a dense fog had come. Due to this, people felt difficulty in breathing and burning sensation in the eyes. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the AQI in Alwar at 8 am on Monday was recorded at 225 at Moti Dungri in Alwar. Which is the highest this season. Whereas a day earlier, at 8 am on Sunday, the AQI of the same place in Alwar was only around 90.

Alwar’s highest AQI (air quality index) between 12 pm on Saturday and 7 pm on Sunday was 97 at 7 pm. The highest level of PM 2.5 in the day was 302 and the highest level of PM 10 in the day was 182 at 7 pm on Sunday evening. On Monday also it increased by 2.5 from 302 to 351. The lowest level of PM 2.5 at 4 am on Sunday was 53 while the lowest level of PM 10 was 52.
