Mumbai, 7 December (IANS). Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, director of ‘The Kashmir Files’, who is famous for making films on serious issues, shared a post on social media during the winter season and told what is allergy? And how can it be removed. Along with this, he asked humans to stay close to nature.
Agnihotri, who is busy shooting for ‘The Delhi Files’, shared a post on Instagram and wrote, “For decades I was troubled with morning allergies. This includes sneezing, runny nose and itching in the eyes. Doctors told that this is a common thing in Mumbai.
“Then, I met a man in the Himalayas who advised me to bathe only in cold water. I tried it and haven’t sneezed for the last three years. I don’t know the science behind it, but it worked for me. This experience inspired me to research and interact with many experts. I found that many allergies occur because we have isolated ourselves from nature. We are not connected to what we eat. We don’t cook, wash or cut our food and we rarely smell or chew it properly. We have stopped eating food properly. We eat any vegetable out of season, forgetting that vegetables are seasonal.”
‘The Vaccine War’ director said, “Just as it is not right to mix orange juice with single malt, it is not right to consume anything with anything else. Allergies are often the result of a broken relationship with our environment. Similarly, we teach our baby to bathe with warm water right from birth. If nature wanted us to bathe in hot water, would it have provided rivers with hot water? We don’t play in the dust, sweat, meet animals or go to the forest.”
“We do nothing to connect with the environment. Our isolation from nature invites natural disaster. When we change our relationship with the world, the world also changes its relationship with us.”
