Ajmer : Madanganj police station of Ajmer, in a major action, has digitally arrested and detained three accused who were supporting the miscreants who defrauded an 83-year-old man of Rs 90 lakh and handed them over to Cyber Police Station Commissionerate, Jaipur. Giving information, Madanganj police station in-charge Shambhu Singh said that the three criminals had purchased gold and silver jewelery from a reputed jeweler’s shop in the city with the cyber fraud money. The three miscreants are Gograj Meghvanshi, Dinesh Kumar Meena and Ravi Meena alias Roman, residents of Gandhinagar, who used to get the vicious thugs to open bank accounts with different documents.
Bought gold chain and ring with fraudulent money
On November 18, 2024, the Madanganj police station of Ajmer took major action and digitally arrested three criminals from a reputed jewelery shop in the police station area. They detained three accused who had cooperated with the criminals who defrauded an 83-year-old man of Rs 90 lakh. The tax has been handed over to Cyber Police Station Commissionerate, Jaipur. Giving information, Madanganj police station in-charge Shambhu Singh said that the three criminals had purchased gold and silver jewelery from a reputed jeweler’s shop in the city with the cyber fraud money. Bought gold chain and ring with fraudulent money
On November 18, 2024, the three miscreants had purchased a gold chain and a gold ring with the defrauded money from a reputed jewelery shop in the police station area. Which was paid through RTGS. After receiving that payment the shopkeeper’s account was frozen by Cyber Police Jaipur.
CCTV footage installed at the shop was useful
In this case, the victim shopkeeper had given a complaint to the Madanganj police station. After that, while investigating, the police arrested all three miscreants on the basis of CCTV footage installed in the shop. During interrogation of the three miscreants, it was revealed that the three youths work in collaboration with cyber thugs to withdraw the amount of cyber fraud by providing them bank accounts. In this case, on interrogating the youths regarding the amount, it was found that the cyber criminals had used digital Jaipur resident Rajendra Kumar Maheshwari has been arrested and cyber fraud of Rs 90 lakh has been done. Whose case number 392/2024 was registered in Cyber Police Station Commissionerate, Jaipur. A gold chain and a gold ring were purchased with the amount of fraud. Which was paid through RTGS. After receiving that payment the shopkeeper’s account was frozen by Cyber Police Jaipur.
