Anand Dubey said on the allegations of distribution of money against Vinod Tawde, it is unfortunate

Mumbai, November 19 (IANS). Bahujan Vikas Aghadi has accused Bharatiya Janata Party’s National General Secretary Vinod Tawde of distributing money among the people before the elections. After these allegations against Vinod Tawde, now the statement of Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Anand Dubey has come to light.

Releasing the video, he said, “The kind of videos that are coming out from Vasai Virar area adjacent to Mumbai. In this, senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and National General Secretary Vinod Tawde is seen in a controversial situation with some people. Allegations are being made that he is distributing money among the people. If this is true, then it is very unfortunate, because such a situation has never been seen in Maharashtra politics.”

He said, “When the Election Commission has a rule that if the election is on the 20th, then you cannot campaign after 5 pm on the 18th. Wherever you are in the area, you have to leave from there and go to your homes. Vinod Tawde is from Vile Parle, Mumbai, so what is he doing 60 kilometers away from there. If they are distributing money there. If he is campaigning among the people, then it is very sad that Mumbai Police and Election Commission should take cognizance of this and take strict action.”

He said, “No matter how big a leader you are. But, you cannot be bigger than the Election Commission and the Constitution. The Election Commission should stop this with immediate effect and ensure that fair elections are conducted in the state.”

He said, “When the election campaign is over, you can only do your election campaign on social media. But, if you are distributing money among people in this way, then it is wrong. The Election Commission should take immediate action on this.”
