Anant Chaturdashi today, Ganpati immersion will be done with cheers, know the auspicious time and method of worship

Jaipur : Ganesh Chaturthi festival is being celebrated with great enthusiasm across the country including Rajasthan. This festival of Ganesh Utsav is celebrated for 10 days across the country. After this, the 10-day festival will conclude today on 17 September 2024 on the day of Anant Chaturdashi. On this day Bappa will return to his home Kailash.

Lord Gajanan stays on earth for 10 days

Ganesh Chaturthi comes before Anant Chaturdashi. Lord Ganesha is worshipped by his devotees for prosperity and before starting any new work. From this day till 10 days, Ganesh Pandals are set up in Ganesh temples across the country and Ganpati is installed. Also, during these days, devotees are blessed by seeing various forms of Lambodar. After 10 days, Bappa is bid farewell with a heavy heart on Anant Chaturdashi.

When is Anant Chaturdashi celebrated

Anant Chaturdashi is also known as Anant Chuadas. On this day Lord Vishnu is worshipped. But, Ganesha is also worshipped on this day. According to the Hindu calendar, the festival of Anant Chaturdashi is celebrated on the Chaturdashi date of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month.

What is the auspicious time of Anant Chaturdashi?

This year Chaturdashi is starting on September 16 at 3:10 pm and will end on September 17 at 11:44 am. If you want to worship according to the auspicious time (Anant Chaturdashi Subh Muhurat) on Ganesh Chaturthi, then you can do Vishnu Puja in the morning. Its auspicious time is from 6:07 am to 7:51 am.

Method of worship of Ganesh Visarjan

Before Ganesh Visarjan (Ganpati Visarjan Pujan vidhi), worship Ganesh ji properly. During the puja, offer modaks and fruits to him. Along with this, do the aarti of Ganesh ji. Now pray to Ganesh ji to take leave. Lift the idol of Ganpati Maharaj respectfully from the place of worship. Spread a pink cloth on the plank. Place the idol gently on the wooden plank. First of all, purify the wooden plank with Gangajal.

Keep fruits, flowers, clothes and modaks with the idol of Ganesha. Make a bundle of rice, wheat and panchmewa. Put some coins in it too. Keep that bundle near the idol of Ganesha. Now immerse the idol of Ganesha in flowing water. Before immersing Ganpati, do his Aarti again. After the Aarti, make a wish to Ganpati.
