Anger among sweepers of Alwar government hospital, prevented from making experience certificate

Alwar : In the recruitment of sweepers in municipal bodies by the Alwar government, sweepers from government hospitals have been excluded even before participating in the recruitment. Their experience certificates are not being prepared at the body level. Due to this, those sweepers will not be able to participate in the recruitment. Due to this, there is anger among the sweepers of District Hospital and Zanana Hospital. He says- Even during Corona, he did not run away from the district hospitals. Now when the opportunity comes to join government service, the government is snatching this right from them, which cannot be tolerated.

Government accused of exploitation

Jitendra Kumar Nanda, a sweeper working in the district hospital, said – I have been cleaning in the district hospital for 10 years. We were excluded from sweeper recruitment while our PF is also deducted. The government has made a rule that experience certificates should be made only for those cleaning in municipal corporations and civic bodies. For this reason, experience certificates of 110 sweepers working in the district hospital are not being made. Deepchand told that he is a sweeper in the district hospital. Now the sweepers are not giving us experience certificate in recruitment while our SI and PF are deducted. The government is busy exploiting us. A sweeper is a sweeper whereas we do cleaning work in a government hospital. We are having to suffer the consequences of that. If our experience is not made then everyone will go on strike.

Many sanitation workers including Neeraj Sarwan, Rakesh Kumar, Arvind, Jitendra Nanda, Trilok Kumar, Vicky, Ramotar, Deepak, Chandu and Sahil expressed their anger and said that their PF and SI are deducted. Now experience certificates are not being made. This is sheer injustice, which cannot be tolerated. On the contrary, the government is busy dividing the Valmiki community itself. Experience certificates are being made only for those working in municipal bodies. In such a situation, Valmiki will not do any cleaning work at other places other than the body.
