Another accused arrested in theft case in Ajmer Jain temple

Ajmer : Police has arrested another absconding accused in the case of theft in the 800 year old Jain temple located in Dargah police station area of ​​Ajmer. The accused was absconding for four months after the incident. In the case, the main accused from Saroth and the goldsmith of Bikaner who bought the stolen goods and two others have already been arrested. The ingot made by melting the silver umbrella was also recovered. Dargah police station in-charge Narendra Jakhar said – Pradeep Patni had filed the report on June 21. Police registered a case and viewed about 200 CCTV footage. Four suspicious persons were seen in the footage. After this, the main accused Sohanlal (36), son of Pemaram Redas, resident of Regran mohalla bus stand, Maroth district Didwana-Kuchaman, was caught and interrogated and he confessed to the theft.

He told that the stolen umbrella was sold to Shivprakash son of Lakshminarayan Soni, resident of Kaluroad Tubel, near Kalubas, Sridugargandh district, Bikaner. On enquiry, Shiv Prakash told that he had made an ingot by melting the silver umbrella. Ingot of 356 grams recovered. After this, the police also arrested Balram alias Bhalaram (28), son of Dharmaram, resident of village Chadwas, police station Chhapar, district Churu and Rajendra son of Kishanlal, resident of Naval Nagar Longia Mohalla.
