Kota : On Wednesday night, another coaching student committed suicide by hanging himself in Kota, the educational city of Rajasthan. The deceased student was identified as 21-year-old Parshuram, a resident of Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh. He was preparing for NEET while staying in a rented house in Jawahar Nagar police station area. He committed suicide here.

At 11:30 pm on Wednesday night, the landlord Anup Kumar informed the police control room about the incident. After this, Deputy Superintendent of Police II Rajesh Taylor, SHO Jawahar Nagar Harinarayan Sharma and police force reached the spot. FSL team was also called to collect evidence. After this, the body of the deceased was shifted to the mortuary of MBS Hospital. The reason for suicide is not known yet. The investigation of the case is going on.

Jawahar Nagar police station sub-inspector Gopal Lal Bairwa said that he had shifted to Kota just a week ago. The landlord had last seen him drying clothes, but after that he was not seen. On suspicion, the landlord knocked on the door of his room. But, even after a long time, the student did not open the gate. The landlord suspected something untoward and informed the police. After this, the police team kept his body in the mortuary. Now after the arrival of the family members, his post-mortem will be done.
This year 12 children committed suicide
So far this year, 12 cases of student suicide have been reported in Kota. Many campaigns are being run by Kota Police and District Administration to prevent student suicides and keep children stress free. But despite that, cases of student suicide have not been completely curbed.
