Versatile actor Anu Kapoor of the film industry and entrepreneur Kumar of Studio Refuel honored women by washing their feet during a press conference organized in Vadodara for the ‘Live Antakshari Competition’. This unique initiative was taken with the aim of expressing respect and gratitude towards women, which made headlines on social media.
Live Antakshari competition will be held on 14th December 2024 in Vadodara. Auditions for the competition will be held on December 12 and 13. 24 finalists, divided into six teams, will compete in the main competition. The winners will be given cash prizes of Rs 1,01,000, Rs 50,000, Rs 25,000 and Rs 11,000. The initiative of washing the feet of women during the press conference is being greatly appreciated by fans on social media.
On this occasion, Anu Kapoor said, “Our step is an attempt to send the message that women should be treated with respect. This is an effort to save our culture and traditions in the society.
Kumar has recently launched the radio show ‘Ae Zindagi Gale Laga Le’ with Padmashree Suresh Wadkar. He told that both tradition and entertainment will be seen in this event. Kumar, known for his popular “Radio Column by Kumar” in Vadodara, said, “This event of Antakshari is an opportunity to save the rich cultural heritage of Vadodara.
