Apple India reported a 23 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 2,745.7 crore in FY 2023-24, according to the company’s regulatory filing shared by Toffler. The company had reported a net profit of Rs 2,229.6 crore in FY23. The company reported a 36 per cent increase in total income to Rs 67,121.6 crore in FY2024 from Rs 49,321.8 crore in FY2023.
Apple India also transferred a dividend of Rs 3,302 crore to its Ireland-based holding company Apple Operations International, more than double that of the previous year. Last month, Apple had announced its plans to open four more stores in India in Pune, Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR and Mumbai. Apple already has two stores in India located in Delhi and Mumbai. Both these stores were opened by the company in India in 2023. At the same time, the company has been manufacturing iPhone in India since 2017. In the first seven months of the current financial year 2025, the company has created a new record of about Rs 60,000 crore in iPhone exports from India.
According to the data, in the April-October period this year, the Cupertino-based company exported iPhones worth about Rs 60,000 crore (over $7 billion), which is about Rs 8,450 crore (about $1 billion) every month in the current financial year. ) is equal to the value of exports. Apple is exporting the recently launched iPhone 16 model from India along with other popular models of its 14 and 15 series.
