Bikaner : Bikaner Applications for admission to three-year pre-primary classes in 402 PM Shri schools established in the first phase in the state can be made from November 21 to November 27. The admission process is being started in these schools for the academic session 24-25. Necessary guidelines have been issued by the Directorate of Elementary Education for admission in three-year pre-primary classes, according to which the admission process in pre-primary classes is 3 years. Or a child older than this age can be given admission. For this admission process, Additional District Education Officer (Educational Cell) working in the office of District Education Officer (Elementary and Secondary) of every district has been made the nodal officer.

Parents will be able to apply in person from November 21 to November 27. The list of applications received on 28th November will be posted on the notice board of the school. The lottery of applications received for pre-primary classes Nursery, LKG and UKG will be held on November 29. The list of admitted children will be pasted on the notice board on 30th November and classes will start from 2nd December after completing the admission work.
Classes will be held 4 hours a day, 5 days a week
The pre-primary classes, Nursery, LKG and UKG classes being started in PM Shri Schools will run only for 5 days from Monday to Friday and children will be taught only for 4 hours daily. The timing of these classes will be from 8 am to 12 noon in summer and from 10 am to 2 pm in winter. 25 children will be given admission in each class. Text books will be provided by the Text Book Board. Children living near PM Shri School will get priority in admission. If the number of children eligible for admission exceeds the prescribed number, admission will be done by lottery.
Every school will get two lakh rupees
For these classes, there will be one post of NTT teacher and one post of support staff sweeper (contractual) in PM Shri Schools. Rs 2 lakh will be made available to these 402 schools for running pre-primary classes, which will include the expenses of NTT teachers and cleaning staff, teaching materials and report card office. In PM Shri schools where additional classrooms are required for conducting pre-primary classes, proposals for the same will be prepared separately school-wise and sent to the School Education Council including Takmina through the District Project Coordinator Office.
