Tonk : To avail the benefits of Ambedkar DBT Voucher Scheme, the government has now extended the date for online application. Now the last date to apply for this scheme has been extended from 30th November to 31st December. Its orders have been issued by Bachanesh Kumar Aggarwal, Director of Social Justice and Empowerment Department and Joint Secretary to the Government. According to this, now eligible students will be able to apply online on the portal till 31st December.
Minority District Officer Nitesh Jain said that the benefit of this scheme will be given to those students of minority community who are studying in Arts, Science and Commerce faculty of government undergraduate and postgraduate colleges and study by renting a room. For such students, the amount spent by the government on food, electricity, water and accommodation facilities will be given to the eligible students under Ambedkar DBT Voucher Scheme.
