Dausa News Desk: Under the Joint Assistance Scheme to provide support to the disabled people, a camp was organized in the Panchayat Samiti Auditorium on Wednesday to benefit from artificial and assistive devices. The medical team did not reach the camp. Equipment will be distributed to specially abled persons as per their requirement. Applications for this were taken in the camp. During this period, 53 disabled people applied. Information about the schemes of Social Justice and Empowerment Department was given. Assistive living devices will be distributed to the specially abled persons identified in the camp on December 15 to commemorate the completion of one year of the current state government’s tenure.
However, the medical team did not reach the camp. Due to this, certificates of many disabled people could not be made. SDM Moolchand Lunia said that the number of people getting the certificates made was less. In such a situation, he was asked to get the certificate made in the district hospital. In the camp, applications were taken from disabled people for artificial devices. Social security officers Devendra Singh, Mahendra Sharma, Roshan Sharma, Deependra Singh Rajawat, Shivshankar Sharma etc. were present in the camp.
