Atmosphere of communal tension again in Rajasthan, vehicles vandalized, police force deployed

Rajsamand : A dispute broke out between two communities late Thursday night in Rajnagar town of Rajsamand district of Rajasthan. This escalated to such an extent that the angry mob started vandalizing many vehicles. After this, the police took charge and using mild force, drove away all the miscreants from there. To maintain peace, officers from several police stations were deployed in the area late in the night, so that any situation could be dealt with. However, no incident was reported till morning. At present the situation in the area remains normal.

According to the information, it started with a fight, after which some youths of a particular community surrounded two people and beat them with sticks and other weapons. In this attack, a young man named Krishna and Rahul suffered serious injuries. Angered by this incident, the local people, along with the officials of the Hindu organization, surrounded the Rajnagar police station and started demanding the arrest of the accused. Meanwhile, the angry mob vandalized the vehicles, after which a large number of police personnel were deployed in the area.

On Friday morning, people of Hindu organization gathered again and started reciting Hanuman Chalisa at Rajnagar police station. As soon as the information was received, all the officers including Rajsamand SP Manish Tripathi reached the spot and started trying to convince the people. After the incident that happened last night, the police have also detained some suspicious people, and appeals are being made to maintain law and order in the town.
