Noida, December 10 (IANS). There was an encounter between Noida Police and a criminal late at night. The police arrested the miscreant who was injured by the bullet. Police have also recovered illegal weapons from the accused. This accused had lured a 5 year old girl and took her towards the forest with him. When there was a sound of people coming there, he ran away. Since then the police was searching for him.
Police Station Sector-39 Noida Police has recovered an illegal pistol, a spent cartridge and a live cartridge from the accused. According to the police, on December 9, under Police Station Sector-39 area, the accused Raja started taking the victim’s 5-year-old daughter to the forest with the wrong intention on the pretext of getting toffee while she was playing outside the house. Seeing the girl crying and more people coming, the accused fled from the spot. The police had registered a case on the basis of the complaint and started searching for the accused.
The police had formed a team to arrest the accused. Late night on December 9, the police received information about the accused Raja, on the basis of which a search for him was started in the forest of Sector-42. When the accused saw the police encircling him, he opened fire. The police team also retaliated, in which Raja was injured by the police bullet and the police arrested him. An illegal pistol, one live and one empty cartridge has been recovered from the possession of the accused. The criminal history and other information of the accused is being investigated.
