Ajmer : Budget and administrative approval is awaited from the government and finance department to upgrade Ajmer Engineering College Badlya to Rajasthan Institute of Technology. After becoming an institute, it will get a new identity in the country and abroad. New labs, hostels and other buildings can be built in the campus. Participation in national and state level projects will increase. The National Board of Accreditation has provided grading to the Engineering College for Electronics and Communication, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Instruments and Control Engineering branches. The government has announced the creation of Rajasthan Institute of Technology like the National Institute of Technology in the budget of 2024-25.
