Ayushman Arogya Yojana will be made public welfare oriented, know the plan of BJP government

Jaipur : After changing the name of Chiranjeevi Yojana to Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya Yojana, Bhajan Lal government is now focusing on making the scheme public friendly. For this, on one hand, while planning is being done to simplify the process of claims of private hospitals associated with the scheme, on the other hand, efforts are also being made to make a provision of separate budget for expensive treatment. What is the planning regarding Ayushman Arogya Yojana, politics is heated on the Chiranjeevi scheme of the previous Gehlot government. The Health Minister has called the scheme just an eyewash. On the other hand, Congress is calling it a life-giving scheme. But amidst these political rhetoric, Bhajan Lal government has accelerated the work towards making many changes in this scheme.

The scheme will be brought afresh after removing the problems of all the stakeholders involved in the scheme. The name of Chiranjeevi Yojana has already been changed to Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya Yojana, now by changing it, the process of brainstorming is going on to provide easy treatment to the patients, remove the problems of private hospitals and insurance companies and the role of the state government. Medical Minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar said that we want to make this scheme successful. He said that most of the patients need treatment of up to Rs 3 lakh. The state government will keep a separate budget provision for transplant and other expensive treatments. In such cases, the state government will give money directly. However, all this is still under consideration.

Medical Minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar first brought the Bhamashah Yojana, but there were many shortcomings in the Chiranjeevi scheme, the previous government used to boast of treatment worth Rs 25 lakh, but only one case in the state has received treatment worth Rs 13 lakh. Whereas only two-three cases have received treatment worth Rs 8 lakh. Apart from this, in most of the cases, the treatment of patients has been Rs 3 lakh or less. Khinvsar said that work is going on to make the scheme public friendly. After everything is finalized, this scheme will be formally announced afresh. If the Medical Minister is to be believed, every family of the state will benefit from the Chief Minister Ayushman Arogya Yojana. For this, discussions are being held with every stakeholder associated with the scheme. In such a situation, it is expected that the new changes will provide more relief to the patients.
