But keeping in mind the health of the people, continuous actions are being taken against adulterators in Rajasthan. In such a situation, just before Diwali, the Health Department has taken a major action in the Rico area of Sriganganagar. This action was led by CMHO Dr. Ajay Singla and Joint Commissioner of the department SS Dholpuriya who came from Jaipur.
The boys working after seeing the team ran away
Under this campaign, the ghee manufacturing factory running in plot number G1-262 was raided. A large quantity of desi ghee was found in the factory. As soon as they saw the health department team, three boys working there fled from the spot. About 12000 liters of desi ghee was found in the factory, which the Health Department team started seizing on suspicion of adulteration. The Health Department team took this action with the help of the police. CMHO Dr. Ajay Singla said that the factory owner has been informed over phone. So that he can come to the factory and present the documents. Let us tell you that last month also the Health Department had seized thousands of liters of adulterated ghee in Sriganganagar.
Inform the adulterants directly to the health department
This action was taken under the ongoing ‘War on Food Adulteration’ campaign on the instructions of CM Bhajanlal Sharma. The main objective of this campaign is to provide pure and safe food items to the public. In view of the festival of Diwali, this action of the Health Department has created fear among the adulterators. CMHO Dr. Ajay Singla said that the adulterators will not be spared under any circumstances. He has also appealed to the general public that if they get any information regarding adulterators, they can directly inform the health department. The name of the person giving information will be kept confidential.
