Bhilwara : A major action has been taken by the Food Safety Department in Rajasthan. Who have seized thousands of kilos of tea leaves from a private company in Bhilwara. This tea leaf is sold all over India. But when its sample was taken in Goa, it was found unsafe there, after which the Food Safety Commissioner of Goa informed the Food Safety Commissioner of Rajasthan.

After this, the medical department of Bhilwara came into action and 11,321 kg of tea leaves were disposed of in the warehouse here. Their samples have also been sent to laboratory Ajmer. After receiving the report, appropriate action will be taken under the Food Safety and Standards Act 2006. Bhilwara CMHO Dr CP Goswami said that tea leaves are sold by RCM Fashion Shooting Private Limited.

Jio Elite premium tea leaves are manufactured by them and sold all over India. Its sample was taken in Goa. Where it was found unsafe, the tea leaves were sealed. Along with this, the company has been instructed to withdraw its goods from the market. Its price ranges from Rs 500 per kg to Rs 600 per kg.
