Bag full of explosives found in emergency of Udaipur MB Hospital, major accident averted

Udaipur : An abandoned bag was found in the X-ray room of Trauma Emergency Building of Government MB Hospital. It had 5 detonators and 5 blasting caps fitted on them. As soon as the unclaimed bag was discovered, there was panic among the medical workers. Police was informed. It was fortunate that this explosive did not explode, otherwise a major accident was also possible. A private mines employee who had come to get this bag X-rayed had forgotten it here. He was admitted here after being injured in an accident the night before. Police have seized the bag, but questions have been raised on the security arrangements due to explosive material reaching the hospital premises. There is a movement of about 20 thousand people every day in this hospital. The hospital administration did not file any report regarding the matter. However, the police have registered the case at their level.

He was a mine worker, left his bag there after taking X-ray.
Jagdish of Mahuri of Parsad and his friends Ranjeet and Pradeep of Bara (Parsad) were injured when their bike slipped in Delwada (Rajsamand) area on December 2. During police interrogation, Jagdish told that Pradeep and he work in Sainath Mines located in Nadol, Pali. Ranjeet was also an employee in the mines. Ranjeet’s bag was with him. After getting the X-ray done in Trauma Emergency on November 2, they forgot it there. They did not know that explosive material was kept in the bag.
