Balotra soldier posted in Barmer Odisha dies due to deteriorating health

Barmer : The health of a Balotra soldier posted in 180 battalion of Border Security Force (BSF) in Orissa deteriorated. He was brought to Jodhpur for treatment, where he breathed his last late on Monday night during treatment at a private hospital.

His mortal remains were brought to his native village Nagana, where he was cremated with military honors today. On this occasion, there was a wave of mourning in the entire village and a large number of villagers participated in the funeral.

According to preliminary information, Lalaram son of Hemaram, resident of Nagana, Balotra, was recruited in 180 battalion in the year 2013. Presently posted in Orissa. While on duty there, his health deteriorated on November 18. After this he was admitted to the hospital there. Brought to Jodhpur from Orissa on 20 November.

He was admitted to Medipulse Hospital, he breathed his last late on Monday night. After this, he was taken to MDM Hospital, where postmortem was conducted. His body was handed over to his family at 4 pm on Tuesday evening.

Mandali police station officer Mahesh Goyal said – the mortal remains of the soldier, resident of Nagana, were cremated in his native village. He was cremated with state honors at around 7.30 pm. BSF officers and soldiers paid tribute by offering floral tributes.
