Bhilwara : The picture has become clear on all the discussions about the undeclared ban on 10 rupee coins in the market in Bhilwara city. In a meeting of 14 bank officials, instructions were given to the bankers that they should not refuse to accept 10 rupee coins from any customer. This is Indian currency. On the instructions of Collector Namit Mehta, all the major bank officials of the city participated in the meeting held at Bank of Baroda office located at Pansal square on Friday under the chairmanship of Lead Bank Manager Ashok Kumar Pandey. District Lead Manager Pandey said that under the instructions of Collector Mehta, all the bankers were instructed to clarify the entire situation and not refuse to accept 10 rupee coins from any customer. Despite this, we will also issue a letter to all the banks so that the customers do not face any problem. He said that the coin has not been banned, so the general public should also not have any kind of confusion.
It is written on the bank counter
All bank officials say that they accept 10 rupee coins. For this, it is also written on the bank counter that 10 rupee coins are accepted here. Consumers are not refused. But along with consumers, government departments will also have to take initiative that if they come across 10 rupee coins in the amount they receive for work, they should not refuse to accept them. Similarly, if medical stores, grocery stores, e-mitra and dairy booths also start accepting 10 rupee coins, then this problem can be solved.
Many times complaints are received
Many times complaints are received that shopkeepers refuse to accept the 10 rupee coin. Or if the shopkeeper gives it to a customer, he also refuses to accept the 10 rupee coin. Coins are not being used due to misunderstanding among people. To remove the misunderstanding, a flex will be installed outside the bank on which there will be a photo of the 10 rupee coin that this is a real coin and these coins are completely valid.
RBI makes people aware
Pandey said that from time to time there have been complaints about Rs 10 coins not being accepted. To make the public aware and remove misconceptions and fears, RBI issues press releases from time to time and urges the public to accept the coin as legal tender in all their transactions without any hesitation. RBI has also said that all Rs 10 coins are valid.
