Banswara : On Friday, the last day of the two-day district level tribal sports competition going on in the district sports stadium of the city, competitions of boys and girls category in four sports Kho-Kho, volleyball, hockey and athletics were conducted. On the first day of the competition, four sports competitions were held – archery, football, kabaddi and basketball. 700 players from the district participated in the competition of 8 sports held over two days. Of these, 170 players have been winners in various competitions.
The winning players of the athletics competition and the players of the teams selected in the district level tribal sports competition will play in the state level competition to be organized in Udaipur on 25, 26 and 27 November. On November 24, all the winning players will leave with their coaches to play at the state level.
District Sports Officer Dhaneshwar Maida said that in the second day of competition organized on Friday, boys category stood first in Kho-Kho in Sajjangarh and second in Bagidaura block, first in volleyball Sajjangarh and second in Talwara block, first in hockey Chhoti Sarwan and second in Anandpuri block, in athletics. In 100 meter race, first Sandeep Gangatlai and second Ritesh Banswara, in 200 meter race first Akash Banswara and second Raunak. Banswada, first in 400 meter race was Kamlesh Gangadalai and second in Shankar Talwada, first in 800 meter race was Ashik Ghatol and second in Jitendra Banswada, first in 1500 meter race was Pawan Talwada and second was Arpit Gangadalai, first in shot put was Vishal Ghatol and second was Digraj Kushalgarh, 4. In Guna 100 meter relay race, Gangadalai block stood first and Banswara block stood second.
