Banswara : Another case of taking insurance claim worth lakhs by pretending to be a fake road accident has come to light. The complainant had taken an insurance claim of Rs 28.50 lakh by making a fake injury report, but the claim was found to be false in the court. In which the court rejected the claim. Lalshankar, son of Dalji Patidar, resident of Lodra, claimed in the report that on July 22, 2021, at around 7 am, he and his cousin, 45-year-old Lalshankar, son of Dalji Patidar, resident of Lodra, both had left for Saradi on a bike. During this time an accident happened.
‘Kamlesh and Lalshankar fell along with the bike. Kamlesh and Lalshankar were seriously injured. Kamlesh and Lalshankar were taken to Sagwara Hospital. From Sagwara he was referred to Mewar Hospital, Udaipur. Lalshankar told that because he was busy with treatment, he lodged a report in Garhi on 4 August 2021, 13 days after the accident. When inquired at Mewar Hospital, it was found that he had fallen down the stairs. He told that he was admitted to BITC Super Specialty Hospital, Ahmedabad from 21 to 22 October, where he said that he was injured in the accident.
The court said that if he had mentioned in the injury report that he got injured due to falling from the stairs, then he should again bring the injury report from BITC Super Specialty Hospital, Ahmedabad, in which he had stated that he got injured due to an accident. It seems clear that the applicant wanted to make a claim by making a fake injury report. On this, Judge Abhay Jain rejected the claim. On September 5, the court rejected the decision given on the basis of fake documents and issued a notice against BITC Super Specialty Hospital Ahmedabad and sought a reply. On Wednesday, BITC Super Specialty Hospital appeared in the MST court in response to the notice from Ahmedabad. The next hearing has been fixed for January 8.
